Wedding Emergency Kit — What to Pack
Everything that saves a wedding day, sorted into three kits — and why the couple should not be carrying any of them.
What goes in the kit
| Category | Items |

| Zapatos y pies | Tiritas para ampollas, plantillas de gel, toallitas, y un par de zapatos planos para la segunda mitad de la noche. |
| Belleza y arreglos | Pintalabios del color del día, polvos compactos, bastoncillos, horquillas, laca, espejo pequeño. |

Build one kit for the couple and one for the venue. Whoever holds it should be someone sober and findable — usually the coordinator or a trusted friend.
The five failures it prevents
- A broken strap or hem — thread, safety pins and double-sided tape solve 90% of wardrobe emergencies.
- Blisters before the first dance — plasters in the kit, spare flats in the car.
- Nobody has eaten — a bag of snacks for the couple between photos and dinner.
- The phone that ran out of battery — a power bank in the kit, not in the hotel room.
- The missing script — a printed copy of the timeline with vendor phone numbers.
Who carries what
- Couple's kit — personal medication, make-up, spare shoes, snacks.
- Coordinator's kit — the sewing kit, paperwork, vendor contacts, the timeline.
- Car or venue — spare flats, umbrella, a change of shirt for the person most likely to spill something.
Pair this with the packing list if you are travelling, and the rain plan if any part of the day is outdoors.

Frequently asked questions
When should I assemble the kit?
Two weeks before. Anything you buy in the last 48 hours will be forgotten in the rush.
Should the couple carry it themselves?
No. Give it to the coordinator or a trusted friend; the couple should not be solving logistics on the day.
What is most often missing?
Food and water for the couple. Between photos and dinner there is often a four-hour gap with nothing to eat.
Do we need two kits?
One for the couple and one for the venue is enough. Keep the venue kit where the coordinator can reach it in under a minute.
